Play is integral for lifelong learning; the intent of our play-based curriculum, environments and resources, is to support, inspire, ignite, challenge and extend children’s learning.
Safe guarding & Child Welfare
At TDN safeguarding encompasses all that we do, child protection is a part of our daily nursery routine. You can be satisfied that your child’s welfare is our top priority.
Our comprehensive set of Safeguarding policies cover areas from lone working to pick up and drop off procedures. Our nurseries have a ‘Designated Health and Safety Officer’ who will always be on-site throughout your child’s day. Whilst all TDN staff members are vigilant in their duty of care, it is the Designated person’s responsibility to ensure staff members are up to date with the latest safeguarding updates, as well as to take the lead with any areas of concern.

Relationships with our families matter; through effective
partnerships and strong communication, we unite our early years expertise with our family’s expert knowledge of their children; to strive for the very best outcomes for all children.
We use fun, research-based, multi-sensory strategies to help children develop early learning skills, including Lively Letters, Open Court for phonics and literacy, Handwriting Without Tears, and Everyday Math. We use Responsive Classroom as the basis for our social and emotional learning curriculum throughout the school.
Health & Safety
Leaving your child at a new nursery is a big deal. We’re parents ourselves so we know how it feels.
Rest assured, your child’s welfare comes first with us. We only employ properly-trained nursery workers. We are checked and registered with the correct legal bodies, and we are strict about the policies and procedures we follow, because your child and their childhood are just too precious to leave to chance

- Secure areas that keep children constantly within sight
- Front-desk check-in to ensure security
